As providers globally we have challenges conducting triage in mass casualty incidents. Fortunately we don't have a lot of mass casualty incidents to make us experts. In review of a mass casualty incident , it is A mass casualty incident (often shortened to MCI) describes an incident in which resources, such as personnel and equipment, are overwhelmed by the number and severity of casualties, we usually think about large scale events, but it can also be a MVC with multiple patients and one provider. In Kenya I have worked with several agencies and discussed the need to review and conduct a table top exercise then a half or full scale exercise. I hope this eventually works out.
