Stop the Bleed

The Initial First Aid Course was developed for nonmedical providers to enhance their knowledge and abilities in self-aid and buddy-aid during an emergency. This is not a certifying course.

Initial Care in Remote Environments (ICARE) is a program provided to any person who might be deploying or working in remote environments. It is not a certification course but provides a general overview of specific medical emergencies and basic procedures to identify and treat oneself or others.

The Stop the Bleed course was developed through the Hartford Consensus and provides knowledge for all responders or civilians to obtain knowledge on massive bleeding and survivability in mass shootings, terrorist attacks, or other mass casualty events.
