As provers we need to ensure we do a good SAMPLE HX but also dig into past medical HX and do a good assessment to rule out different illnesses. We will be called for paralysis to parts of the body that can either be a CVA or mimic one. Not only a CVA can cause stroke like symptoms but also Bell's Palsy and Ramsey Hunt Syndrome can have very similar type S/S also. Here is an article from EMS1 discussing Ramsey Hunt Syndrome.
